Background of the Study

Business intelligence (BI) refers to the technologies, processes, and tools used by businesses to analyze data and gain actionable insights for decision-making (Davies et al., 2023). In the context of IT-driven firms, BI strategies can provide a competitive edge by enabling data-driven decisions, improving operational efficiency, and identifying new market opportunities. This review will examine how large-scale firms in Benue State are utilizing IT-driven business intelligence strategies and their effect on corporate growth, focusing on areas such as market expansion, product development, and financial performance.

Statement of the Problem

Large-scale firms in Benue State may face challenges in fully utilizing business intelligence strategies due to data overload, lack of skilled personnel, or ineffective integration with business processes. While some firms may successfully leverage BI to foster growth, others may struggle to realize the potential benefits, resulting in suboptimal decision-making and missed growth opportunities. This study seeks to review the implementation of BI strategies in large-scale firms in Benue State and their impact on corporate growth.
